Camden County seeks applicants for Public Library Board of Trustees vacancy

The Camden County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Camden County Public Library Board of Trustees, the county said.

The library board has five members, all appointed by the Board of Commissioners. Trustees serve two-year terms and attend quarterly meetings at the Camden County Public Library, 1410 GA Hwy 40 East in Kingsland, according to the county.

Applicants must live in Camden County and cannot be an employee of the Camden County Public Library or an immediate relative of a library employee, the county said. The position is voluntary and unpaid.

Applications are submitted through the Citizen Board Application Form at camdencountyga.gov, under Services > Online Forms. The position will remain open until filled. Questions may be directed to 912-576-5651, the county said.
